Gianluca Morassi nato a Udine il 28 novembre 1962. Da marzo 1990 giornalista, a La Provincia di Como, responsabile delle pagine di economia.
Appassionato di atletica leggera, ha scritto libri su alcuni personaggi di questa disciplina sportiva: "Il miglio inglese" (Ultra edizioni); per Bolis edizioni: "La corsa di Shorter" (2019) - finalista al premio Invictus - "L'uomo bianco a sinistra" (2021), “1968: la primavera di Zatopek" (2022) e "Bikila & Burghley: 1960, Olimpiadi di Roma"(2024).
Per Bolis edizioni è autore anche di due gialli: “La scia dei soldi” (2022) e “Blec” (2023).
Con il collega Gianfranco Colombo, ha scritto il libro "Lecco, terra del fare"(La provincia Lecco editore) sulla realtà̀ delle piccole imprese lecchesi.
